Recurring & bills

Every bill that repeats. Every bill still to come.

Set up your rent, your paycheck and your subscriptions once. SetBucks puts them in every month ahead, shows what's due this week, and flags what's late.

We'll only email you about our launch. 14 days free, no card needed.

The Recurrences tab of the ledger: Jordan's paycheck every 2 weeks, rent, gym and Spotify, each with its category, how often it repeats, the next date and how many times it has run.

Due soon

What's due this week, and what's late.

The dashboard keeps two short lists: anything overdue, and everything due in the next 7 days. Overdue items are tinted so you can't miss them. Open one to mark it as paid.

The dashboard's Overdue list, with a water bill due on the 11th, and the Next 7 days list with a paycheck, Netflix, a Roth IRA contribution, the phone plan and car insurance.

Found in your bank

The subscriptions you forgot you had.

With a bank connected, SetBucks spots charges that come back every month and asks whether it should count on them. Say yes, and the charge becomes a recurring bill. Each time your bank reports it, the real charge replaces that month's forecast.

A card titled "Found in your bank" proposes YouTube Premium, charged around the 21st and seen 5 times, at $13.99 a month. After "Add to recurring", it becomes an active monthly recurring bill, next on 10/21/2026.

Installments

Payment plans, one installment at a time.

Add the plan once, and every installment lands on its date. You always see how many are paid and how much is left, and you can change the date or amount of any single installment.

An installment plan for a new laptop: 12 monthly installments of $108.25, 3 of 12 paid, $1,299.00 in total.

How it works

The details

  • Any rhythm

Weekly, every 2 weeks, monthly, quarterly, every 6 months, yearly, or every few days.

  • Income too

Paychecks and other regular income repeat the same way, so the month shows both sides.

  • Pause, resume or end

Stop a bill for a while, bring it back, or end it for good. What already happened stays in your records.

  • Choose how far ahead

Each recurring bill shows its entries 3, 6 or 12 months ahead, or 2 years. You pick.

  • Reminders by email

Get what's due by email every day, every week or once a month, sent in your own timezone.

  • Mark as paid

Open any bill from the dashboard and mark it as paid. The balance and the forecast follow.

Questions

Good to know

Does SetBucks pay my bills?

No. SetBucks keeps track of your bills and shows what's due, what's late and how they shape the month. You keep paying them the way you do today, and mark them as paid, or let your bank connection bring the charge in.

How is this different from a bill reminder app?

Your bills aren't a separate list here. They're part of your month, next to your paychecks, so you see what's due and also what you'll have left after paying it.

Can SetBucks find my subscriptions on its own?

With a bank connected, yes. It looks for charges that repeat and suggests them as recurring bills, showing how often it saw each one. Nothing becomes a recurring bill until you say so.

What about bills that change every month, like electricity?

Set a typical amount. When the real bill comes in, edit that month's entry, or, with a bank connected, let the actual charge take the forecast's place on its own.

How far ahead do recurring bills show up?

You choose, for each one: 3, 6 or 12 months ahead, or 2 years. The entries are there on the dates they're due, and they count in your forecast.

Set it up once. Every month after is in view.

When we open, add your regular bills once, and nothing sneaks up on you again.
